"I didn't know defense." - Trusting Passengers

February 10, 2017

It happens often. Be it family, friends, strangers-- they are granted permission by the driver to enjoy sharing a ride wherever. Whether the trip is short or long distance does not matter. What matters is that the driver and passenger are in the vehicle together, a patrol officer summoned the driver to the curb, searched the vehicle and found marijuana in the car. Both driver and passenger are arrested for possession of drugs. Constructive possession is alleged, whether known or unknown, as the drugs were accessible to both. GDW Lawyers will assist with obtaining exoneration or leniency.
